| In just 3 weeks, Joe and I are going to backpack europe! I've never been to Europe before, and from pictures, the travel channel, and books, it all seems like a whole other world - i can't believe i'm actually going to go! I'm soooo excited - different cultures, different languages, different people, different food, historical places i've only read about in books or on wikipedia! The only sad thing is that things are so expensive! For example, I looked up Le Moulin Rouge in Paris (supposedly the best caberet in the world) - it's like the equivalent of 300 - 400 US dollars per person!!! But I guess we don't need to go to that, and thats an extreme example. Anyway, I'm just so excited for EVERYTHING! Most recently I've been trying out my new North Face backpack (made especially for women) everyday ... and also my new LeSportsac (fanny)pack since we'll be traveling with those almost everyday. If any of you are going to be there from May 20-June 20, let us know and maybe we can meet up if our schedules coincide! :) Cheers! |

| In an effort to save about $1000 shipping my car from Chicago to Hawaii and instead splurging it on gas, skiing in colorado, vegas slots, and disneyland churros...along with having always dreamed of driving cross country...along with seeing old friends...along with celebrating being college graduates without jobs in the near near future...here is Roadtrip '07: From the Chi to the HI (HI = postal acronym for Hawaii). Chicago Bears Superbowl Victory Parade -> Chicago -> Nebraska -> Denver -> Vegas -> LA -> San Fran -> LA (goodbye car) -> Seattle -> Hawaii. |
